Kabini (Nagarhole National Forest), Karnataka.
The Jungle Lodges at Kabini is strategically situated on the banks of Kabini River.
Once it used to be the hunting lodge of Maharaja of Mysore. Its huge campus with neatly maintained landscapes and superb food and hospitality will make your stay worthwhile there.
They offer jeep safaris into deep Nagarhole National forest and also the boat rides which take you through the kabini river along the bankside for birding.

6. Elephant trying to take a dustbath by throwing dust on itself. This is to keep the insects away and also to save themselves from hot sun.

8. The lazy leopard. It took more than 5 minutes to spot this even after knowing it is sitting there. Before we could click it better, it turned away its face.
