Sarpass Trek - Himalayan Landscapes
These are the pictures I have taken in my trip to Himachal Pradesh for a sarpass trek with YHAI.
The base camp was located at 6800ft near Kullu in a village called as Kasol.
The sarpass was at 13,800 ft to be done in 7 days trek. The trek was completed successfully. Below images would try to showcase the beauty that might himalaya beholds !
21. The ratnapani camp was offering some great views towards the sunset.

22. From nagaru camp, we have to start trek at 4 in the morning to avoid the melting snow due to sun. Climbing this at 4am was quite a task.

23. The dog named "lalit" followed us throughout the trek and made it very easily on the snow too.

25. Someones backpack just rolled over and added the punch to this ice-scape.

26. Snow avalanches are the most dangerous of stretches and you need to pass them fast. Once such avalanche pass.

27. The water stream keeps running under the ice and sometimes form these shapes where the ice melts fast. Do not miss the person in left corner sliding down and a group far behind him.

28. The icy valleys.

29. The bhandakthatch campsite is called as the "switzerland".
